How do you provide insights into factory buildings and machines that are not normally accessible to the public and without interrupting the production process?
Analysis
Visitors to the Wüsthof knife factory in Solingen will be guided through the factory and accompany the production process of a knife.
Solutions
The entire tour was implemented using augmented reality (AR). At the start of the tour, visitors are given a tablet that provides insights into the production steps and machines. Company founder Abraham Wüsthof also accompanies the tour and tells the story of the company.
